iFly Singapore brings you a unique indoor skydiving experience inviting everyone from first-time flyers to professional skydivers to access the first-of-its-kind state-of-the-art wind tunnel facility. The record-breaking experience takes you at a height of 56.5ft with a diameter of 16.5ft, accommodating up to 20 professional flyers at one time ensuring an easily accessible, realistic, safe and affordable setting.
Unlike the outdoor activity, you don’t have to worry about any dietary restrictions before your indoor skydive. Wear loose-fitted clothes so that you’ll feel comfortable the whole day. Yoga pants, leggings, a T-shirt and a long-sleeved shirt or tops would be ideal. You will be given complementary skydiving and safety gear upon arrival.
Your iFly Singapore experience begins as soon as you reach the facility. Since the experience is strictly dated and timed all guests are advised to check in about 15-20 minutes before their assigned slot, to complete signing the required documents on time.
Once you register and complete the standard paperwork you’ll be ushered for your training session with the indoor skydiving instructor and other participants. Here, you will be shown a short video and trained in body positions and movements and significant hand movements; after this, all your questions will be answered by the instructors.
Next, you will be given all the necessary equipment: a complimentary flight suit including a helmet and goggles (special goggles for those who want to wear their glasses). Once all the flyers have put on their jumpsuit and gear, they move to the flight room which features a bench where groups can sit. Instructors then lead the flyers individually into the wind tunnel.
Finally, get ready to fly. Unlike the outdoor skydiving experiences, for iFly Singapore, you will not require to jump out of an aeroplane. Enjoy the exhilarating experience of flying in an enclosed, protected environment. Each skydive lasts 45 seconds, which is said to be the time it takes to fall from 12,000 ft to 3,000 ft while outdoor skydiving.
There’s no age restriction as such to try indoor skydiving: anyone between the ages of 7-106 can try this activity. Only those under 18 need to carry a signed consent form from a parent or guardian
Weight restrictions depend on the participant’s height: those under 5’9” must weigh less than 120 kg, while those taller must weigh less than 140 kg.
You can wear anything athletic and comfortable for your indoor skydive. It is recommended that you dress in t-shirts and pants/shorts/track pants with lace-up sneakers. Unlike the outdoor activity, you don’t have to worry about any dietary restrictions before your indoor skydive.
