The maximum weight to go skydiving is 115 kg. Those under 95 kg can go skydiving freely, and those above 110 kg will be subject to fitness. An extra fee may be charged as well from 110 to 115 kg for the additional protective gear required.

To go skydiving in Australia, we suggest you wear casual and comfortable clothing such as activewear, jeans, or tracksuits. Wear closed shoes as well. Avoid wearing loose clothes, flip-flops, accessories, or other things you may lose during the dive.

It is advisable to eat light food one hour before you go skydiving. Avoid overeating and consumption of alcohol at least 24 hours before the jump.

Skydiving greatly depends on the weather, and cancellations may occur due to bad weather conditions, such as rain, poor visibility, fog, and heavy wind. We suggest that you check the weather before you book your skydiving experience, or pick a slot early in the morning when there are fewer chances of rain.

After a basic health checkup, your skydiving instructor will begin your training. The instructor will explain your entire experience and give you tips on best practices and techniques to follow while diving. It’ll be a brief 30-min session where they will also cover safety instructions and gearing information.

After completion of the training session, you will be provided with your safety gear. Before the jump, your instructor will re-check the gears and harnesses to ensure your safety during the jump.

While the fall itself is just about 5-7 minutes, your entire skydiving experience will last at least 3-4 hours, including the health check, training, and the fall. Once you take the plunge, you will experience free fall for about 60 seconds where your speeds can reach up to 200 kmph. Your jumpmaster will deploy the chute once you’re close enough to the ground, after which it will be a serene glide to the surface.
