  • Experienced divers: All the guests dive out of the plane alongside experienced jumpmasters, which ensures complete safety even for beginners.
  • Safety assessment: The participants are thoroughly assessed before each session for medical fitness and other marks of suitability. They are also given a quick brief.
  • State-of-the-art equipment: The parachutes have Automatic Activation Device so in case of any trouble during manual deployment, you will still have a perfectly safe landing.
  • Registration: Prior to your Yarra Valley skydive, you will be registered online at the Australian Parachute Federation.
  • Weather restrictions: Skydiving is heavily dependent on weather conditions so your jump may be rescheduled to another date of your choice in case the weather is unsuitable.
  • We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes, particularly active wear. Closed shoes are also essential.
  • For safety reasons, hiking boots and heels are disallowed according to the dress code.
  • Contact lenses and glasses are allowed.
  • You may want to put on some warm layers before the jump because it can get quite cold when you’re high up on the plane.
  • Eating a light breakfast is ideal. Do not stay hungry or overeat before your dive.
  • Make sure that you’re hydrated. Dehydration can cause you to feel sick and even cause muscle cramps.
  • Guests are strictly forbidden from consuming drugs or alcohol at least 8 hours prior to the Yarra Valley skydive.
  • Age restriction: For maximum safety, guests under the age of 16 are not allowed to participate. Parental or legal guardian consent is necessary for guests between the ages of 16 and 18. The parent or legal guardian must be present during the dive.
  • Weight Restriction: Guests over the weight of 110 kg are usually not allowed to participate due to medical and equipment-related concerns. Guests will be subject to assessment and approval from the Safety Officer and some surcharge may also be applicable for those weighing over 95 kg.
  • Restrictions: The experience is not available for pregnant guests, guests over a certain weight and age, as well as for those who have special medical conditions. So, check the restrictions carefully before booking.
  • Recording policy: Go-Pros are usually not allowed during these skydives. You can upgrade your tickets to access photos and videos of your dive.
  • Scuba diving: Because of concerns related to pressure changes on the body and altitude, guests cannot participate in skydiving if they’ve been scuba diving within 24 hours prior to the dive. So plan accordingly.
  • Medical conditions: Do disclose any recent injuries or medical conditions. Even a common cold or congested sinus can pose health risks, as well as heart conditions, irregular blood pressure or epilepsy.
  • Health check: A medical certificate from your doctor may be required. Guests will be checked by the drop zone Safety Officer and the final decision will be taken by them.
